In accordance with the PET Travel Scheme rules pets must have a microchip, An EU Pet Passport or UK Health Certificate and have been vaccinated against rabies. When travelling from Calais to Folkestone a tapeworm treatment must be administered 1-5 days before travel. But don’t worry we are here to help guide you through the process.

Throughout the journey, our staff regularly monitor your pet to ensure they are comfortable and stress-free. They check on your pet’s well-being, provide food and water as needed, and offer reassurance and companionship to keep them calm.

No, there are no restrictions based on breed or size for transporting your pet. We are equipped to transport cats, dogs, and ferrets of all breeds and sizes. Whether you have a small Chihuahua or a large Great Dane, we can accommodate them comfortably. Not travelling with your pet? We maintain open communication with pet owners throughout the journey, providing updates on your pet’s well-being and any significant developments.

Payment for our services can be made through either a bank transfer or a secure payment link, which allows for card payments. It’s important to note that utilizing the secure payment link incurs an additional 2.5% processing fee.

To secure your booking, an initial payment of 50% is required upfront. Upon receipt of this payment, you will promptly receive confirmation of your LeShuttle ticket. The remaining 50% is due two days prior to your scheduled travel date. Alternatively, you may opt to pay the full amount in a single installment.

Furthermore, we provide flexibility in trip arrangements, allowing for rescheduling or refunds in certain circumstances. Full refunds are applicable to specific ticket types, such as LeShuttle Flexi tickets, whereas Day Trip/Overnight and Short Stay Saver tickets are non-refundable.

In the event that your travel plans change, we are able to offer you a full refund, excluding card fees, as long as we have at least 24 hours notice.
